reflections

As Steve is coming home really late tonight, I have a lot of time on my hands to think about what happened around here today. Ok, so I'm bored and have to do something other than sit idly by and watch House Hunters...again.

To prove to myself that I actually did something today, even though I did the bare minimum to keep the house running, here's my recap:

1. Got the girls to school, on time.

2. Washed 4 loads of laundry. I've dried 3 of those four loads, and put away only one. Yes, that means there is a washed load still in the washer, a dried load in the dryer, and one load folded, but sitting in a basket on the couch. Hey. I got four loads of laundry washed today!

3. Loaded and started the dishwasher.

4. Read my lesson for Sunday.

5. Searched for inspiration for my scrap room organization class which I signed up for at Big Picture Scrapbooking.

6. Picked the girls up from school, on time.

7. Made lunch.

8. Talked to Melanie twice.

9. Talked to mom twice.

10. Looked through scrap magazines, came up with ideas to complete assignments for my online class.

11. Made dinner, not mac and cheese. Steve will be impressed with this one. Katie even ate it!

12. Emptied dishwasher and did dinner dishes.

13. Found out that I have too many pillows on my bed according to 25 Biggest Decorating Mistakes on HGTV.

14. Got Tyler to bed, on time.

15. Read Snow White to the girls.

16. Got the girls to bed, on time.

17. Took a bath.

18. Washed my face.

19. Finished the 1/4 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips that I started snacking on this afternoon. I'm hard up for sugar now that I finished the bag of peanut butter m&m's and Hershey Treasures Wednesday. I think I'm going through withdrawals.

20. Posted on the blog. I had to round it out on an even 20-

Now I've gotta go find something else to do. At the very least I guess I should put the clothes in the washer in the dryer so I don't have to wash them again tomorrow. Wait! I never do laundry on Saturday so it doesn't matter anyway.
