let's get some color on

It's been a very gray and soggy weekend here. It has rained a lot. It's still raining right now as I'm typing.

I'd like to add some color and playful stuff to the mix today. Have a gander at the Limited Edition stuff for Spring:

First up are these eye pencils that you can use as eyeliner alone, or as shadow as well. They blend wonderfully and are chunkier pencils (that come with sharpeners) that will last a long time.

MK is giving us two more LE nail polish colors, coral stone and pink sand:

I have to say that I tend to stay very neutral with my make up colors. Very neutral, actually. My first reaction was "Ooh, what a pretty light pink! I'll try that one." So I put some on one thumb and loved it. It's a very soft pink that would look very natural and pretty with a french manicure.

And just to be fair I put the very un-neutral coral stone on my other thumb and thought, "That's a little much. Maybe I'd put it on my toes." I'm more carefree with nail color on my toes.

You know something? The Coral Stone totally grew on me. I love it. Like L-O-V-E, love it. Throughout the day I kept glancing at my right thumb. It's a very fun and cheerful color- after a day of wearing it I figured that I liked it so much because it has a very retro feel to it. It left me feeling pretty darn feminine and put a happy smile on my face.

Moral of the story: don't be afraid to try new things! You never know what you may find!

Last up are two lip pencils (that are the same chunky diameter as the eye pencils) that are matching shades to the nail lacquer. Pink Sand would be the obvious neutral pink, while coral stone would be the pop of color to spice up your day.

Fun stuff, fun colors! Check it out at my website!

Happy Monday!
