this and that thursday

Today is trash day (along with recycling and green waste) which makes for a very happy Tyler. Three trucks coming at different times today? Fascinating! Exciting! When he hears a truck whatever is happening must be suspended so he can run to the window to check out all the action on the street.

Weigh in for 10 in 2 (lose 10 lbs. in 2 months) was this morning and I discovered that I gained a pound this week. Ugh. I'll do better this week.

Note to self: Lay off the homemade bread.

Two different sets of missionaries have been at my door in the past 18 hours. I'm not sure if they were from the same church, but I think it's funny. My neighborhood is under a religious pamphlet blitzkrieg.

Camilla is cutting three teeth at the moment and loves to chomp away on alphabet cookies. I am very lucky to have happy teethers.

Katie read to the principal today. We are so proud of her! She really enjoys school and reading and we couldn't be happier. It helps when there are awesome teachers and administrators who
really know their stuff.
