better start stretching

In our ward (or congregation) we have a challenge taking place right now. The focus of the challenge is to get in shape physically and spiritually. It's a point based system: x amount of points are earned for exercising, drinking water, eating fruits and vegetables, etc. Points are also awarded for reading the scriptures, saying prayers and giving service. I do believe this is one of the coolest challenges I've ever been involved with.

I think I'm a pretty competitive person, so I'm giving it all I've got. Laying it all out on the line. Except for that handful of chocolate chips I inhaled yesterday. What can I say? I gave into temptation. That evil bag of goodness needs to leave the house now. I considered having chocolate chips for breakfast. I did not cave this time however! I settled on oatmeal and a banana. Much more filling.

After logging 7 1/2 miles after two evenings of walking I'm a little sore. Tonight is the night to head out to the vineyard to pick some grapes. That is going to compound my situation a tad. Oh, the soreness I'm gonna feel tomorrow. All that squatting and bending over to reach those grapes dump the pan. My quads and glutes are spazing right now at the very thought.

Good for them.

They could use the movement.

I'll be watching this today to freshen up my skills.

Like I need to freshen up my skills; I've been doing this since I was yea high (hand raised to my waist). I just thought it'd be cool to post a video today. ;)

I remember my quads being so sore the day after I worked in the vineyard last year! GO AUDREY! I think you should count that as exercise ;)
