random things lost

Here's the deal. I was tagged by Joy on Facebook to list 25 things about me. Honestly, I can't think of 10 things that would be fun and interesting to know about me, so I had to work on this list for a while. I finally thought of 25 items. Shortly after I went into a clean-everything-off-the-counter-tops-frenzy and apparently disposed of my ever so interesting list. Whoops!

So I am recreating the list here, and I'll post things one by one as I remember them.

Excited!?! Here we go:

1. I am very forgetful. My short term memory is the worst.

2. Despite many attempts to be otherwise, I am disorganized. This does not mean I have thrown in the towel all together, I just need to be more consistent. (My mother would laugh hysterically if I ever admitted this to her; I believe this very fact was the basis of 98% of our "disagreements" while I was a teen).

I can't tell you how many times I have made a list only to lose it between my house, the car, and the store. My life is so much fun! It is filled with lots of second trips, conversations with myself and quiet moments where I have to stop everything to try to remember something.

Can you imagine what it's like to live with me?

Steve is going to look like a saint by the time I get through this list.

Audrey you sound just like me so far! I can't remember things for very long and the list I usually make for shopping never makes it in the store with me! Yikes!

I am SO happy to hear that other moms are inflicted with my same illness. I have made a million lists, lost them, tried to remember most of the things on them at the store so I don't have to turn around and find the list (by this point the kids are generally out of the car and in the cart but lets face it...I always forget at least one important thing. Very frustrating!) only to drive home and find it sitting next to the spot where my purse was. I wonder why I haven't figured out yet to simply put the list INSIDE my purse. Hmmmm.....
