that I am white. And when I say white, I am not talking a creamy/ivory Nichole Kidman white. Let's just say if I could act I'd be a shoe in for any vampress role in the Twilight series. On second thought, maybe I should have my people call their people...perhaps I could give that Rob guy a couple of tips...food for thought.
Anyway, back to the point at hand: my whiteness. I've done a lot to try to comfortably add some color to my skin and haven't found just the right thing. The sun is my enemy I have discovered, and self tanners are a lot of orangy mess that quite frankly take too much time and effort for my liking.
Here comes the shameless plug: Mary Kay has a great bronzer. I was reluctant to try it for fear of looking too shiny or orange, but a couple weeks ago at a MK meeting a fellow consultant (Amy) showed me just where to add it to make an impact. Thanks Amy!
So last night I had about -5 minutes to get ready to go out. I had NO make up on at all, and had to do something fast. I used my foundation to cover the blotchy-ness then grabbed the bronzer. I used it to highlight my cheekbones, as an eyeshadow, and then to give me a sun kissed look. I topped it off with a fast application of eye liner and mascara and ran out the door. With a touch of lipstick in the car I was good to go. Seriously, it took no time at all, and I thought that something was better than nothing.
The response that I got was crazy. I got a lot of compliments and felt great! Because of the ease, quickness, and results, I am so happy with it. I now have a go to routine when I'm in a serious hurry and still need to look good. I'm all about that!
You can check out the great bonzers (along with all the other awesome stuff MK has to offer) by clicking on the compact on the right. That will take you to my website where you can check all the latest and greatest.
If you don't already have a consultant, I know a great gal (Me, hello!) who would just love to help match you with some great color!

What? I did not know you sell MK products! I just bought one from a teacher I work with! She gave me 50% off a compact I bought, I paid like $37.15 for 3 eye shadows, a bronzer, and a lipstick. Pretty good deal though! I love make-ups and will be coming to you from now on. I saw those bronzers you mention and was so close to buying it! I have to think about it before I start splurging! One question, did those compact combo come with brushes? Mines, did not come with one.
I would love to help you Sunny! I love MK stuff, and I would love to share it's goodness. The brushes don't come with the compact because there are different sets to choose from- they're either $2.50 or $4 depending on which set you like/need. We'll have to chat! ;)
