1. Vacuuming. Mom and Dad got Steve and I this rockin' vacuum for Christmas.

Sounds boring? Maybe. But I have very clean carpets now. I've vacuumed three times since we got it. That's about three times more than I vacuumed before Christmas. I love the dang thing.
See that? We don't have pets, but we've got kids. This thing picks up everything!
2. Jon and Kate (and their eight).

When the girls spent the night with Grandma and Grandpa, it was just Tyler and I for the afternoon. Then he went down for a nap. What did I do with all my childless, peaceful, free time? I sat on the couch and watched how a family with twice as many kids deals with life. Sick isn't it? Then a couple days later there was a marathon. Guess what was on as I cleaned? I have a problem, I know.
As a side note, this obsession I have got to get under control. I've noticed that I have not been as calm and nice to my dear husband. Kate is getting to me.
3. Food. I have been eating, eating, and eating. All kinds of good candy, chips, and the usual hostess products. So healthy huh! I know. I'm thinking this will be my largest pregnancy yet. Maybe I should make a resolution to change all that. Maybe.
Any other good obsessions out there that I'm missing out on? Fill me in!

The Internet. I am obsessed with it. Why was this crazy thing invented? So that I could surf it all day long? Why can't I control this obsession??
You are too funny! I am right with you on the eating problem this holiday. I am sure I gained at least 10 pounds. Wonder what my New Year's resolution will be about? And the Kate thing...Jared cannot stand her! Isn't that funny? He cannot stand her and everyone comments that I remind them of her because of the hair. Hhhmmm, maybe it is me he secretly cannot stand.
Audrey I must say I am secretly addicted to John and Kate. I watch whenever my husband isn't home though, he says why watch a show about screaming kids when we have screaming kids at home (hahaha!) But I love to see how she does it, it actually inspires me to do better...weird I know!! Just so you know my word verification is PORKHAM - tell you anything???
Heather, the only thing you and Kate have in common is the hair cut. I cannot imagine you even getting close to being like her.
Valerie, I think that I watch her controlled chaos to feel a little better about what I do. She inspires me also. I find myself thinking "If she can do it with eight, I can handle three. Suck it up girl."
I also caught myself thinking (while watching very old footage of their twin girls before the others came along) that having twins is nothing. Two at a time compared to six at a time? Piece of cake. I really better watch what I think. YIKES! I'm gonna go wash out my mouth with soap.
