7 little dirty secrets

I was tagged a long time ago by Melanie to expose seven dirty secrets about myself. How exciting for you! I have been thinking and thinking, but I've had a hard time coming up with anything.

Well, not exactly anything, but there are some secrets that aren't so dirty, and some that aren't so little...and you thought I was an open book, huh? Surprise!

Here's what I thought was acceptable for bloggin':

1. I lean on retail therapy at particular moments in my life. I'm not talking hundreds of pairs of shoes or shelf clearing trips to Gilroy (I wish), but I do enjoy getting out by myself and buying something just because I want it.

2. I am the queen of unfinished projects. Seriously. I'm not even going to attempt to list them. It would take way too much time and I probably wouldn't finish!

And to think I get on Steve about being the king of unfinished projects. I guess we were MFEO (Sleepless in Seattle reference).

3. I hate change. Some change- that is inevitable. I hate making a conscious decision to create change. Like Steve starting his own business. It took him a long time to convince me things would be fine. So far, so good! I still haven't decided though.

4. I know doctors are there to help, but they bug me. Don't get me wrong, I have a beautiful family thanks to lots of doctors and nurses. I know that. I know that I am blessed to be able to go to a doctor within minutes of something going south and getting it all cleared up. I guess it's all just a hassle to me when I am on the healthy side. Irrational, yes I know. That's why it's a dirty little secret.

5. Speaking of irrational, that would be me on a good day. Most days I am an emotional wreck, and my poor husband never knows what he's gonna get when he walks through the door. He calls before he comes home to see if I need him to pick anything up and to let me know when he'll be home (bless his heart). But anything can happen in that usual half an hour window to send me reeling. You should feel for him. Really.

6. This one I can't believe I'm sharing, but it's the honest to goodness truth. I hate leftovers and cleaning out the fridge. HATE IT. Enough said.

7. It is embarrassing for me to admit this one too, since I love to scrapbook. I don't like to take pictures at events. Either I'm so wrapped up in what's going on, or I just don't want to be the crazy camera/scrapbooking lady who is shoving the lens in every one's face. I feel weird whippin' out the camera and yelling "smile!". I think it makes people uncomfortable, and I don't like that.

Now you know more than you wanted to know about little old me. I should have put a disclaimer at the top. Oh well. You'll either be scarred for life or dump it from your short term memory bank so it will be like it never happened. Good luck.

You are too funny. I had no idea you were an emotional wreck and I have a hard time believing it but if you are...welcome to the club! I also hate cleaning out my fridge and does anything taste all that good once it has been reheated?
