Don't tell anyone, but I've been sneaking out to the garage periodically. The reason? To give myself a time out. Plain and simple. Well, sort of. I've also got this waiting for me
if you can't tell by the wonderful picture, this is what we bought last Saturday:
Yes. It's a minivan. The very vehicle I swore up and down I would never drive let alone own. But now it is my pride and joy (besides the fam, you know). With one power door and a power gate, life is so much easier for me. Oh yeah, the a/c works too. So nice since it's 102 degrees today. It's beautiful I tell you, beautiful.
So if I don't answer the phone or the door right away, it's probably because I'm having a thirty second time out. Breathing in and relishing those new car smells. Aahhh....
p.s. Casey, just for you, I took those clothes out and actually washed them with detergent that Steve picked up for me. The stench should taper off some time soon! ;)

Sweet! I love mine too and it is not any different than driving a car, that's what I really like.
Awesome! I, too, swore I'd never drive a minivan and now I TOTALLY wish we had one! Ahhh, in a few years...it's on the wish list!:) Congrats, and enjoy those timeouts! I think taking in that lovely new car smell is the perfect place for a mommy time out!!

Welcome to the minivan club! I remember buying our first minivan, I cried. Now I totally love it! We just bought our second van, a Honda Odyssey. It looks like thats what you got. Right? I love ours. And it helps that there is a sunroof. It makes me feel less mommy-ish. Well enjoy!!!
