oh happy day

Ok, I know it's all a little juvenile, but birthdays were a big deal when I was younger. That has translated into my adult life, and Steve has accommodated me (especially when birthdays weren't a big deal for him; is this just a male/female thing I wonder?).

Anyway, I've had a wonderful morning so far. Tyler slept in 'til 7:45, so it was quiet for a while! Got some fun phone calls (thanks Melanie for your asteroids... still chuckling about that) and got to open cards from the girls along with this fabulous present:

I am so happy about this, it's crazy. Needless to say, we're rocking out this morning. Thanks sweetie! I love it!

Plans for later on today:


go out to lunch with my parents. The girls are already dressing up (any excuse to wear a dress)



play some more with the ipod and dock


go shopping at the scrapbook store (I get 20% off because of my b-day!)


go out with Steve for a hot date tonight; he still won't give up the details. All I know is that I am going to have a great time!
