unrealistic ideas

I'm in an online scrap group called SOHO (scrapin' our hearts out). Pretty much we all post our work and compliment each other, give challenges, and even get together once in a while. Right now there's a challenge going to scrap 29 pages in Feb. After doing 31 in Jan, I was content to let this one slide right by. Until Friday.

I began thinking how I could break it up and scrap every night. If I had sketches and ordered pictures, all I would have to do is put the pages together. I got everything together thinking about how cool it would be to have 60- six zero- pages scrapped in 2008- and began plugging away Monday night. I did five pages which is unheard of for me. I was feeling pretty good about my accomplishment as I went to bed at 12:30, but wasn't so happy when I got up Tuesday morning. I have the scraper's crick. I get this spot in my back that knots up when I look down or to either side. Not fun. So I spent some time yesterday on our little message chair to work out the tight spots. Now my back is sore to the touch. I think I'll continue on with my plan, but there is no way I'll finish by Friday. Drat. I guess that will have to do.

Here's the six that I have been able to complete. I lifted all the sketches from the 2peas gallery and I did not write down who created them. So sue me. They're not being published, so really it makes no difference right?

I didn't realize how bad the pictures were. This one above is Katie feeding her baby (then taking a little for herself).

This is a challenge from Ali E- the idea of repetition. I used A's and wrote characteristics of myself around the border.

Katie hiding under a kitchen chair (she pointed out with an up-side-down pacifier like baby Ty).

My parents anniversary picture from 2005.

Steve and Isabel reading- love it.

Grandma and Isabel. Very playful.

Other than that, not much going on today. The girls are banished to their room until all the toys are picked up and trash (they love tearing tissue and paper for some odd reason) is thrown away. Another unrealistic idea strikes. They may be there until dinner!

They look great!!! I always love seeing pictures of your LO. Thanks for sharing. I LOVE scraplifting too. I decided to take the latest mag and turn to the 1st LO. Whatever it happens to be, I have to use it. It has work pretty well. I took 3 or so LO for the last CK (feb). It was so nice to not really have to think!
