and share this little curiosity: why is it that children will play with anything that they haven't seen in months, even if it is intended for a much younger player? I dusted off (more like hosed off) a toy that was too young for the girls more than eight months ago but knew that eventually Tyler would love it. I decided yesterday was the day, cleaned it up, brought it in, and who monopolized the thing for over an hour? Yes, the very two who wouldn't touch the thing months ago. Territorial? Just the fact that it is new again? I don't know. Hopefully it will wear off so Tyler can get some quality time with Fisher-Price goodness soon.
