A while ago some bloggers were commenting about their "top 25" playlist for their ipods. I wasn't so much surprised by what was on my most played because I think I would know what songs I like. What did surprise me however were the genres. At the moment I have a total of 8 genres listed, and the majority of the songs are found in two: "alternative punk" and "rock". Huh! Who woulda thought punk would be at the top? Who woulda thought Cake would be labeled punk and Sarah McLachlan would be rock? Absolute shock. I guess it is what it is. Deep down inside I am harboring a rocker chick wearing torn fishnets with black nail polish and spiked hot pink hair head banging away.
