Welcome to parenthood, huh?!?
I can hear the whispers now: "Is she new to the game?"
"How many kids does she have?"
"How old are they?"
I know. Kids are expensive. I am a slow learner. Period.
The icing on the cake was laid on with the infamous school picture order forms. The fliers came home *times two* and my jaw hit the floor when I saw the prices *times two*.
The night before Steve and I sat down and determined which combination of packages would give us the most bang for our buck. School pictures are a rip. Talk. about. gouging. I was not thinking nice thoughts about the photography company here. Bunch of...well, it's just a lot of dough for three 7x10 sheets and one 5x7.
Have they been to Costco lately?
Then the pictures came home.
But in a good way.
Aren't they just adorable?!? I seriously wanted to put them on my plate and eat them, they are so cute! Cause that's what I do when I like something/someone a whole lot; I eat them. It's a problem, I know.
Every time I look at these pictures I am reminded how dang lucky I am to have such cute (and fantastic) kids.
Including the other two not pictured. ;)
I can't tell you how many times I have scooped them up and nibbled a little bit after getting a glimpse of the pictures. I just love them to pieces.
They're lucky they're at school this very instant. As a matter of fact, Tyler's the only one up right now. Poor guy!
P.S. Katie's hair keeps getting lighter and lighter...
P.P.S. When did Isabel get so old?

Their pictures did turn out so cute! I too hate the prices they charge for school pictures...so we go the cheap route and get the $10 class picture and call it good. I am sure my kids will be calling us cheap-skates when they are older and we won't fork out an arm and a leg for their school yearbook. Oh well!
They are adorable girls. I hear you, when school hits in August, you can just bet on sending $$$ to school about every week until the end of December. I've grumbled about it plenty. We totally cheaped out on the pictures this year. I realized I didn't need several pages of pictuers that were not going anywhere but my junk drawer.
Oh dear Audrey - I am so happy to hear that you too like to just eat things up when you love them so much. I often say this phrase to Dave and he looks at me with a seriously concerned look. I think those little girlies of yours are positively darling!
Those really are super cute pictures!!! And super cute kids! And you are just so funny Audrey! I haven't read blogs in months, but it's been fun reading the last few entries of yours tonight! 50 miles, good job! And I did enjoy your pity party, :)
