Holy Cow

This kid is six today.

Six.

(Yes, that is a pancake with syrup, whipped cream, and sprinkles. A birthday only comes around once a year!)

She woke up to the traditional balloon/gifts at her spot at the table. She opened one gift (glittery hot pink nail polish "twisted pink") and the dug into her choice of breakfast: pancakes AND BACON. We could NOT forget the bacon. ;)

We painted her nails quickly and she added her Hello Kitty nail stickers for the finishing touch before she headed out to school.

Lots of cupcakes and kitchen clean up are in my future.

We just can't get enough Katie around here. What a delightful addition she has been to our lives!
