monday shorts

I

• am still wondering what I'm going to eat for breakfast at 10:45. Due to my indecision I'm on my second strawberry/vanilla granola bar.
• have to call the DMV and make an appointment to renew my license TODAY. I am simply terrified. I barely passed my driving test 10+ years ago and if you ask my husband my skills haven't improved much since then.
• am happy the kids are outside playing in the pool before it gets too hot.
• am watching Camilla gently drift off on the couch again...it won't be too long before the couch is no longer an option for napping.
• realized that my ever so faithful point and shoot has developed some issues since posting a picture of Katie and Camilla on FB. Light flares every where... I guess it's time to save up and go for the big daddy camera. What to do until then is another story.
• am amazed at how quickly the house can go from shiny clean to trashed. It seems like it's 0-60.
• am cleaning the kitchen and starting up the laundry, again.
• am patiently telling the kids to stop splashing each other. They all hate it, but all do it.
• am thinking I've gotta start getting up and preparing the kids for the upcoming school schedule. I can hear the bells at the school going through the cycles and frankly, I'm a little freaked out.
• had some crazy dreams last night again thanks to the tv being on all night. I've gotta remember to set that timer.
• am tired of the constant whining Tyler has employed to get his way. It gets old very quickly and the girls seem to love hearing it.
• am getting excited about a little time away this weekend. ::sigh:: hope everything works out.
• watched Marley and Me for the first time yesterday. Cried terribly when Marley got sick and then died. Those darned dog movies make me cry every time. My Dog Skip was the worst.
• am wasting too much time on the computer trying to muster up the courage to call the DMV.
• am getting ready to pull the plug on the pool.

Is it quiet time yet? Maybe the school schedule will be a good thing after all...
