ever noticed

that kids are like your own little personal herd of paparazzi?

They hunt you down to find out what you're doing twenty four/seven, then (without a camera, luckily) return and report to the masses.

Fortunately "the masses" are siblings right now. If we're lucky an occasional grandparent or teacher may get thrown into that category too.

For example, as I'm sneaking bites of brownies left over from dessert the night before while getting breakfast ready, Isabel came running in and caught me in the act. She promptly ran back to the other kids, informing them I was eating brownies for breakfast.

I just love being kept on my toes!

That is so funny! The other day when the girls were at Ellie's b-day party, I felt this freedom that I surely wasn't expecting. I told Steve that evening..."It was the best feeling ever....I could eat what I want, do what I want, go on a run if I want...for a blissful 1 1/2 hours" (Just so you know I ended up doing our grocery shopping with just Robbie-thrilling, I know;) He then said, "well can't you do all that anyway?" NO! And your post is exactly why I can't, if I want something and not have to share it, I need to sneak it.
