Isabel had a early day yesterday, so I thought heading down to the world ag expo where my dad would be manning the Caterpillar booth was the perfect way to use up the excess time. The kids loved seeing grandpa with all of his cool tractors that they got to climb up and play in.
They even had four helicopters waiting in a nearby field giving rides for $30. Isabel said that maybe after we were done looking at the tractors we could go on one.
Because doing all of that just didn't seem like enough fun, we topped it off with cotton candy. That made it a total success.
When we got back to the car Isabel decided that maybe next time we could go on the helicopter. As long as she gets to sit by me.
Here's day 11, a really hot morning at the park last summer. Really hot.
