First things first:
She wore comfy summer clothes (too stinkin hot to wear anything but) and wanted two different colored hair clippies. Note her new backpack that Grandma and Grandpa surprised her with. She's totally ready.

Got to school early (grandma too) and couldn't wait to get in her class. She met her teacher, colored a picture, then asked "when are you leaving?". That's my que... we picked her up a couple hours later and she was happy as a lark.
At home she began chewing on a celebratory piece of watermelon gum and started screaming. She said her tooth hurt, and I thought "uh, oh... we have a cavity". But further inspection would reveal a LOOSE TOOTH!
I'm sure it won't come out for a while, but she is now very happy about the tooth fairy visiting!
We celebrated her having a great first day of kindergarten by having lunch at Chuck E Cheese's. Too much fun!
