independence day...kinda

Steve packed the receivers for our satellite tv in their box to return to the dish factory. A couple of months ago we decided once and for all that we watch way too much tv. As a result other things are being neglected. So in an effort to better our lives we put our collective foot down and called dish to cancel our contract. Since then we've gotten about a dozen phone calls with "special rates" and lots of ways for us to change our mind. Sorry dish network! It's not going to work this time! There are too many books to be read, pounds to shed, pictures to scrap, boxes to sort, callings to magnify, weeds to pull, flowers to plant, walls to paint, creativity to explore, games to play, etc, etc. The list goes on and on. Hence the reason to pack up the equipment and "return to sender". Thank you, but no thank you. I have wasted too many hours sitting on my big behind wishing that things would get done. No more!
