Saturday night was our ward Christmas Party! I told the girls in advance that Santa was going to be there (Isabel has been very stressed about him). When he first came out, Isabel freaked, began to cry, and hid behind me. I knew Katie would be game, so we went to get in line. A couple minutes later Steve brought Isabel over saying that she wanted to give it a try too (I think candy canes were a HUGE motivation for both girls). All went well, and both girls told Santa they wanted purses for Christmas, and off they went.
Tyler has his first tooth! He's been a little cranky, but nothing all that terrible. I think I can see the one right next to it trying to surface also.
Steve has finally received some callings in the ward. He is the ward athletic director. He'll be in charge of the men's basketball team when that season comes around, the coach for the Young Men's basketball team, and organizer of a 16+ coed soccer team. Busy. He was also called to be the Elders Quorum secretary. Still waiting to see what that entails. So happy for him.
I have also received a new calling (a total shock since I've only had this one for a couple of months). I'm back in Young Women's as the Beehive Advisor. I'm so excited. I guess I belong with the 12-18 yr olds. I wonder what that says about me... honestly, I don't feel any different thank when I did out of high school. Funny.
